Through the Eqstra Spring Classic mountain bike initiative and the committed cycle enthusiasts with Eqstra, funds raised through participation in the annual Spring Classic, the corporate team entered into the Momentum 94.7 road cycle challenge and sale of Eqstra cycling kit, an amount of just over R101 000 thousand was raised for the CHOC Foundation, through their fundraising arm, The COWS.

“The time, effort and commitment shown by the CHOC Foundation, the Cows and volunteers, is humbling. The support given to the children and their families is certainly exemplary, playing a vital role within our communities, a cause well worth the support as the drive for increased awareness, certainly can save lives,” said Walter Hill, Chief Executive Eqstra.

These much needed funds go a long way to assisting the CHOC Foundation, Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa, with their numerous support programmes.
